The YMK Foundation was initiated in 2020 when my followers insisted I use my platform to raise money to help people in need in Jamaica. We came together with the intention of giving back to the society that lacked government help. What triggered these thoughts was the amount of people asking for help and that the Jamaican government does nothing to help poor people especially those who are in need of medical assistance.

The followers, fans and friends were inspired by the thought and philosophy of of “Giving Back”.


Our aim is to work towards the development of the society by providing educational materials, medical help, and other facilities to all those in need and to provide pecuniary assistance to those unable to fend for themselves due to old age or a disability by supporting them through grassroots initiatives on a case by case situation. I have to say not everyone will get help as we are just a few donating from a pay check.


We would like to organise food distribution in the rural areas, school books to slum area students and become even active during disaster relief. Where free education is there for underprivileged children in various areas but no school clothes or shoes, books or bags and we would like to do our bit in making education more accessible.


The YMK foundation “although still not registered as a charity” would be a non profit non government organisation. Our motive is to help those who are not able to help themselves. We would be trying to find those kind-hearted people who really want to change other lives by developing and donating to things like education, health, which would empower, help for old age people and for those with a life disability.

The aim is to register as a non-profit charity and put all cases forward for public appeal.
